The Wondrous World of Motion

     The Wondrous World of Motion will take you on a journey through time. Along the way you can see various forms of transportation, from Egyptian chariots to modern airplanes. The classic attraction from EPCOT Center is being updated and brought back for new and old guests to enjoy. It will be located to the lft of Test Track, to draw crowds away from it and Mission: Space. It's Fun to be Free plays in the background of the attraction. The new attraction will be sponsered by Cheverolet. 

     In the first scene you see a caveman. To your left  is a boat, with Vikings in it. "The first people walked everywhere, but as time passed, we found new ways to move, like the boat." In this scene you see an Egyptian holding a wheel. Farther down are chariots, being pulled by horses." Horses were also used as transportation, but were not very efficent. When the wheel was invented, horses started to pull chariots with them." Here you see Greeks, racing their chariots in the Olympics. "The Ancient Greeks used chariots as a game. They had competitions, like the Olympics, to see who was the best chariot racer." 

     Christopher Columbus' ships are seen, going to the new world. "Christopher Columbus set forth to the new world in 1492. He was the first European to find America!" On one side you see Leonardo Da Vinci and his flying machine, and on the other, a group of hot air balloons. "In the Renaissance great minds like Leonardo Da Vinci opened up and tried to fly. While Da Vinci was unsuccesful with his flying machine, the hot air balloon was created!" 

     Here you find covered wagon trails to one side, and Native Americans on horses to the other. "Americans wanted to move west, but it was a long and trecherous journey. Native Americans wanted to keep their land, and wouldn't give it up." This scene has a train stretching across it, with people waving out. "People are now starting moving faster. The earliest railroads are finally emmerging, and stretching across the country." The evolution of automobiles is shown in this scene. A horse-drawn carriage, a black 1928 Chevrolet 4 DR Sedan, a red 1970 Cheverolet Impala Convertable, and a current year silver Cheverolet Malibu (Exchanged each year to promote the new model."Cheverolet has been making cars ever since 1911, and still do today, like Malibu you see here." 

      To left is the Wright Brothers and their airplane, followed by a modern Boeing 777. On the right is the space shuttle. "Finally, we can fly! In 1903 the Wright Brothers took off, and we've been going farthur and faster ever since, even to outer space!" The finale of the attraction, with screens lining the walls, showing of future technologies, such as high-speed rails and the hyperloop.
